This is a watercolor and ink painting, that I’ve made near Zwolle, a town in the Netherlands. For patrons of my art, I have posted several work in progress steps.
It’s painted on acid-free cotton paper, and varnished – so is archival quality that can withstand the test of time.

To take one of the most beautiful and perfect objects in nature – a tree, and make it even more beautiful and perfect takes remarkable skill. (If Van Gogh painted watercolor and ink, I think the detail would look much like the detail in Spirit Tree.)
When I saw it, I simply wanted to have it near me, and I’ve reached the age when I can support amazing art. (And I can look at it while I play Caromble! as foofaraw. Thanks to Pascal for sending me this link.)
