This is a watercolor and ink painting, that I’ve made near Zwolle, a town in the Netherlands. I have also posted several work in progress steps.

The artwork displays a hiking path through the woods, with several old trees, including a beautiful birch tree, with it’s patterned bark. The forest had a yellow glow from the evening light.
A central tree had fallen the next day I was traveling to this painting spot – therefore I titled it “Spirit Tree”.

This is a poster print without a frame.
