Bonsai Shop set up in a traditional Machiya in the streets of Kyoto.

It was on exhibition in the The Kyoto Art Center and Japans Cultureel Centrum in Amsterdam.

The base is solid wood, is stable and works visually very well without additional frame. It has a string attached for easy hanging on a wall. The surface has varnish for protection.
