A new portrait of a friend. And just delivered to the gallery for the Portrait Month exhibition, that will start tomorrow.
It’s done in what is now my new studio – I love the diffuse light, even if it makes it all a bit tougher. So there is more to come from that place. And thanks a million to Elise for offering to sit for this portrait. I know it takes a lot of patience.
Really nice work, unconventional, interesting background! Lovely streaks of colour in her hair.
Would be nice if you exhibited your works on a website like Flickr – would be easier to follow..
Hi Sergey, thank you for sharing your impression, always interesting to hear – great that you like it.
It is sadly a lot of work to keep several websites updated – I have this blog here, and a cghub page (http://oxpal.cghub.com/ ) and a dutch art community page – and it’s already nearly too much to work on them all.
This page has an rss feed, a twitter feed and a facebook page. I tried all those for easier updating – but its not perfect. Also since they don’t filter by art, they show updates on the non-art articles I write too.
But maybe one of those options works for you. I’ll check out flickr, maybe it’s easier than the others. Thanks for the hint.
